Part 3 of our walk ....
Please be patient whilst this page downloads - I hope the pictures are worth the wait!
An
attempt at a bit of an 'arty' shot. The 'Queen Victoria' pleasure-trip
boat (the white one) can be seen maneuvering near the quay. This boat
takes many visitors on trips round the estuary and along the river.
You cannot walk much further along the walls here, unless you want to get your feet wet!
Double back and drop down into the town of Conwy and continue the wall walk from the opposite side of town (only a few minutes walk - it's a small town!) at the car park near the Visitor centre (where you can learn much more about Conwy's history)
The
picture, right, shows the view across town to the highpoint where you
joined the wall earlier. The dark building in the centre is the Visitor
Centre. (It's not really that dark - it's my photography!)
Coming to the end of the wall walk, by the castle itself, you can see that Conwy is a popular tourist town, even on a cold, wet day in March! These are in two groups, one from Germany the other from Japan. Visitors from all over the world come to Conwy - I hope you will too.

I have also constructed a "Conwy Town Tour" and am planning further sites including the Conwy Marina, Deganwy and Llandudno Junction and spectacular views of Conwy and surrounding areas (Snowdonia National Park, for example). I hope you have enjoyed this tour and found it useful please e-mail me with comments.
