Take
a trip round the historic Walls of Conwy
Part 2 of our trip on he wals of Conwy...
Looking inwards along Rosehill Street, towards Lancaster Square. You can see a variety of building styles. |
From the turrets, looking left, you
can see Conwy Mountain. From the top, on a clear day the views
are superb - taking in Conwy, Llandudno, Deganwy, Penmaemawr and
parts of the Snowdonia National Park. Well worth the effort -
there is a good path all the way up!
|
Again, looking inwards from further along the walls, you can see across the roofs to the castle. Being a walled town, there isn't any room for expansion! |
|
The picture below is taken above the
arch over Berry Street, which becomes Castle Street at the central
junction - the Castle is visible in the distance.![]() |
|
Walking a little further down the wall, there is a panoramic view across the Conwy Estuary. The village of Deganwy is situated to the left, and Llandudno Junction centrally. The castle can be seen (just about!) on the right of the picture. |
